When you choose curbs from our company, you invest in roads that are robust, resistant, durable and also characterized by elegant aesthetics. We can offer you both straight and curved curbs. We have standard sizes, but if necessary we can adjust the shape and size to the customer’s needs. Granite material is sold on pallets. The technical requirements for the production of our granite curbs are defined by the Polish standard PN-B-11213 from November 1997.

Granite curbs are only a fraction of the rich and complex offer of Art Granit, which you can find on our website www.artgranit.de. We also offer high-quality granite curbs and paving stones. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the content of our website and invite you to cooperate!
The main task of curbs is to determine the course of the roadway and at the same time prevent excessive moisture from penetrating the road substructure. In the case of sidewalks, the curb marks the border of the sidewalk and green areas.
We have several types of curbs available:
• Road curbs – standard type
• Arched granite curbs form oval curves and the shape emphasizes the flow of the road
• Granite drive-on curbs are used primarily in parking lots – driving up is made more difficult
• Sloping curbs have two different heights and can be used as driveway and street curbs

Granite curbs are also used as:
• Demarcation of paving stones
• Decorative elements in gardens
• Palisades and resistance to reduced areas
• Gutter for rainwater
Curbs are made from granite blocks that are extracted using diamond saw wires and sawn into slabs. The granite slabs obtained in this way are then flamed and are then further processed on so-called stone circular saws. During this process, the granite slab is cut to the desired length and width, the bevel is cut and then flamed.

Each granite curbstone is equipped with a specific slope and its shape complies with Polish and European standards or can be made to order. It is possible to adapt practically any type of slope to the customer’s wishes. The laying of the curbstones begins with the preparation of the horizontal base and the stretching of the mason’s line as a reference point. Next, the flamed granite curbstone is laid on a layer of thin concrete (thin-bed method) or on a sand-cement gravel layer, along the previously stretched line. Finally, the granite curbstone is covered with mortar up to halfway on both sides.
The granite curbs we offer are of excellent quality and withstand long-term, adverse weather conditions very well. Rain, snow, the very high temperatures alternating with extremely low temperatures typical for our climate have no effect on the granite.
