Grit is characterized by a rough surface and angular sides. It is formed by natural erosion of rocks or by mechanical crushing. The color of the grit becomes more intense when exposed to water, which makes it an ideal solution for decorating gardens. The bulk density of the aggregate is approx. 1500 kg/m3. 1t of grit can cover approx. 17-20 m2 with a layer thickness of approx. 3-5 cm. In addition to the standard products, we supply aggregates in other fractions and in a different color scale upon special customer request.
Natural products, due to their sharp edges and corners, may become damaged—such as cut or torn—during packing into bags and transportation as the product shifts within the bags. This may also result in longer unloading times, but it is not considered a defect or a reason for rejecting the material, and it does not constitute grounds for a complaint. In case of any complaints regarding our material, please contact us immediately, and we will gladly address the issue without delay. Installed material is considered accepted, and no objections can be raised afterward.

Due to the natural origin of stone, ART GRANIT reserves the right for variations in the shade of the selected color, stone structure, and coloration, as well as possible efflorescence, rust, veining patterns, microcracks, and inclusions compared to reference photos, samples, or products displayed on our website. These discrepancies are natural phenomena inherent to materials shaped by nature; they are not considered defects but rather proof of the authenticity of natural stone. Standing water in the installed layer may cause moisture stains, salt crystal efflorescence, or chips in the stone due to handling. The above-mentioned characteristics are not considered defects, do not justify rejection of the material, and cannot be grounds for complaints. Any such deviations are natural features of the material and should not be claimed as faults. The use of salt or similar substances is prohibited. Proper adhesive designed for natural stone must be used for installation to prevent penetration through the stone. Natural stone can be effectively impregnated for added protection. Raw-split elements may display tool marks, cut surfaces, and dimensional tolerances depending on the size of the products. The cobblestones are offered in commercial-grade quality.
