Such deviations are natural properties of the material and should not be reported as faults. The use of salt or similar substances is prohibited. For installation, an appropriate adhesive for natural stone must be used to prevent penetration through the material. Natural stone can be effectively impregnated for enhanced durability. In raw-split elements, tool marks, cut surfaces, and dimensional tolerances relative to the size of the product may be visible. The cobblestones are supplied in commercial-grade quality.
