We are well aware that the transport of heavy loads is an extremely responsible and difficult job, and the search for a professional and, most importantly, reliable transport company can be very complicated and time-consuming. Therefore, deciding on ARTGRANIT’s delivery offer, you are assured that the ordered goods will reach their destination safely and on time. We will organize safe transportation of the material for interested customers. At ARTGRANIT we offer you the opportunity to organize free of charge and professional advice on the selection of the right means of transport. For many years we have been working closely with reliable and proven carriers and forwarders. The cost of delivery is borne by the customer.

What transportation options do we recommend?

The type of form of delivery depends on various factors such as the type and quantity of material ordered and the place of production. The place of delivery is also not insignificant, on which the possibility of choosing a particular form of transport may depend.

• courier – this solution works especially well for small orders. We would like to inform you that the delivery is carried out by a delivery truck of over 3,5t. Unloading is carried out by pallet truck only on hardened surfaces (such as asphalt, concrete, level pavement).
• Tipper truck (bulk loaded goods) with a capacity of up to 25.5 t.
• TIR 24t – please keep in mind additional costs such as purchasing bags and arranging unloading (these vehicles are not equipped with cranes or forklifts).

Note: if you have your own means of transportation, it is possible to pick up in person.

Delivery time

The waiting time for delivery of the ordered goods is usually: from 1 to 3 weeks (from the date of order confirmation). Delivery is made on working days. We closely monitor the loading. However, we ask you to check the delivered material during unloading. If you notice any defects or shortages that may have occurred in transit, please kindly communicate this to the supplier and ArtGranit as soon as possible.

Packaging method

The material you order is carefully protected so that it arrives intact. Products on pallets are secured with special straps. Granite cube can be delivered in bulk by dump truck or in big bags.

Valuable tips for delivery and unloading

When scheduling delivery, please ensure that the carrier is able to reach the unloading site unhindered. ArtGranit is not responsible for the impossibility of access caused by the customer’s ordering an inappropriate means of transportation. The average dimensions and parameters of trucks and delivery vehicles can be found below: width of about 3.2 m,

length of about 16m-20m, height up to 4m, the weight of a full set is about 40 tons. Additional notes: – reverse entry requires about 10 m of free space, so that the driver of the vehicle can easily enter the property. – The dump truck lifts the semi-trailer upwards, hence there must be no obstructions such as high voltage lines or trees at the unloading site. Unloading is the responsibility of the purchaser and is at his expense or at the expense of the seller, if this is clearly confirmed in the offer. The purchaser shall provide access and exit on a paved road that complies with road and traffic safety regulations, corresponding to the selected delivery truck. Until a contract is signed, all information is only a presentation of the terms and conditions and should not be considered a commercial offer under the Civil Code. During unloading, the customer must provide appropriate equipment such as a wheel loader or forklift! The forklift or wheel loader must be able to lift from about 2 tons. In the case of a dump truck, the access and unloading parameters as above and the paved road must be maintained. Due to the impossibility of unloading, the buyer will provide the location confirmed by the driver. The seller shall not be liable for goods not delivered or unloaded due to the above mentioned lack of access or unloading capabilities. Unloading, entry and exit must be provided at an optimal location for overall safety. Our offer includes: 1 hour of free unloading of the truck (each additional 1 hour at a cost of PLN 300). Our offer does not include: storage fees or possible demurrage/stoppage of delivery, transport insurance, tipping chassis, customs inspection, depending on the delivery option. The contract for the delivery of goods is concluded between the carrier and the customer. ArtGranit is not a party to this contract.
